Alejandra's coaching session was incredibly inspiring and thought-provoking.

Her insights into the systematic social issue in Mexico resonated deeply with me and motivated me to work further into my research in similar topics. Her passion and expertise moved me, and I felt a renewed sense of purpose for my own project.

I’m particularly grateful for Alejandra’s encouragement to move beyond academic research and explore concrete actions to address the issue. Without her guidance, I may not have had the courage to consider partnering with NGOs or taking other tangible steps. The session provided me with a clear roadmap and the confidence to pursue my project with greater determination.

My experience at the RCL highlighted the need to address planetary health challenges while simultaneously building the human capacity required for large-scale systems change.

This transformation requires individuals to develop transformative knowledge, which is the ability to understand complex systems and their interrelationships. Additionally, cultivating emotional and spiritual intelligence is crucial for navigating the complexities of these challenges and acting with compassion and resilience.

This focus on human capacity building resonates with the Indian government's Skill India mission. While Skill India aims to enhance employability, the RCL suggests a broader application of these skills. Here, the focus is on developing skills that empower individuals to act effectively within complex social and environmental systems.

The RCL emphasizes the importance of system-level action and healing processes to address deep-rooted social problems. Simply equipping individuals with traditional job skills might not be sufficient. By addressing the root causes of these issues, we can create lasting positive change. I can apply the RCL process in my social entrepreneurship venture to develop human capacity, creating a model where both the venture thrives and individuals gain valuable skills.

Alejandra Chacón has been an invaluable guide in my self-discovery journey.

From our first session, she made me feel understood and supported. She helped me see things I hadn’t noticed before and gave me tools to manage my emotions in a healthier way. What I value most is how she listened without judgment and offered new perspectives that truly resonated with me. Thanks to her, I’ve made changes I once thought impossible, and I now feel stronger and more in control of my life. I’ll always be grateful for her guidance.

When I read the Regenerative Change Lab, I first asked myself how much of this irreversible damage to the environment I am responsible for. 

As a health professional, I was surprised to see such a novel and exciting model where different ways of thinking, emotions, feelings, levels of consciousness, education, preparation, etc., can be exchanged. I found that this model allows us not only to be listened to (which is currently an almost forgotten custom for human beings) but to be the source of data collection that will make it possible to structure an individual and collective plan to understand the problems and give guidance to solve them within different communities. 

I found that this methodology helps us as human beings to understand (and understand each other) and break this circle of violence between us and the planet to achieve re-harmonization. As a doctor, I see this project's potential to impact the health system positively and avoid many of the diseases derived from our responsibility as human beings to the planet and the consumption of products that we process in different ways that harm us. The scope of this project is gigantic in all areas. It is incredible that people are working on trying to re-educate us to make a collective conscience and that we understand that everything we do individually has repercussions on the community and the environment.
